New Trailer Dropped By Ethereum NFT Project

Ethereum NFT project Goblintown has dropped a trailer for its upcoming game, Goblintown: Really Hard Driving Game, set for release on PC and Mac via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

No Crypto Or NFTs

The game, an endless runner featuring the Goblintown Burger Truck, is reminiscent of Temple Run and Dookey Dash. The trailer humorously notes its difficulty, but despite its Web3 roots, the game will not feature crypto or NFTs, as it is a traditional Web2 title.

Alexander Taub, co-founder of Truth Labs, confirmed this, adding that the game will be released within 2 to 3 months, with more details to come, including its connection to Abstract, a new Ethereum Layer-2 network by Igloo Inc.

20% Surge

In 2023, Goblintown art appeared in Only Up, a popular Steam game, under a Creative Commons 0 license. However, the artwork was removed after a few months.

In related news, the original Goblintown NFT collection has also surged nearly 20% in the past 24 hours, now valued at $573, according to NFT Price Floor.
