Cardano Uninvited To White House Crypto Summit

Charles Hoskinson was reportedly unaware ADA would be included in President Donald Trump’s proposed ‘Crypto Strategic Reserve’. He also confirmed that neither he nor any Cardano representatives were invited to the White House Crypto Summit on March 7th.

Hoskinson Was Not Contacted

Hoskinson expressed his surprise, revealing that despite President Trump allegedly wanting ADA to be included in his crypto reserve plans, he had not been contacted beforehand. Following the announcement, ADA saw a significant 76% surge, before experiencing a 30% decline.

Charles additionally emphasized that while the upcoming Crypto Summit is important, such events do not facilitate the policy work required to drive meaningful change, which necessitates broader collaboration across agencies and stakeholders.

On March 5th, Hoskinson was absent from a ‘Crypto Power Lunch’ hosted by Senator Tom Emmer and Representative Bryan Steil. Although there had been speculation about his participation, he confirmed during a livestream that he had not been invited.
